The best thing about summer is lounging outside, relaxing with friends and family and salads! There is nothing worse than slaving over a hot stove in summer so salads and grilling are the way to go. This watermelon, blueberry caprese salad is stunning and pairs really well with all kinds of grilled protein.
I have been lucky enough this season to have a bumper crop of basil so I decided Caprese salad it must be. I wanted to add a twist to the salad, I added some watermelon with the basil and balsamic glaze.
